Elden Ring is full of difficult bosses, but one wall that nearly every player had in common was Radahn. However, Reddit user Barmy90 is different from the usual Elden Ring player, as they did so much damage to Radahn that he was unable to enter phase two.

What makes this feat particularly impressive is the fact that Radahn is such a difficult boss. A master of gravity magic, the insane demigod has cut down many players while atop his trusty steed. In fact, he proved so challenging that FromSoftware felt the need to nerf him, only partially reverting the changes after players said they preferred the fight when it was more difficult. Even in his current form Radahn is no joke, showing how great the Redditor’s setup was.

The clip in question is just over a minute long, and it begins with the Redditor showing off their Elden Ring build - a gift to anyone struggling with Radahn and seeking an easy way to bring him down. The player wielded a Bandit’s Fire Curved Sword that had been upgraded to level 15, and with their character only at level 60, they were hardly overleveled. Instead, the quick kill came down to mastery of the fight and a specific incantation. The Claw Talisman also helps make jump attacks stronger, which is something to keep in mind since the Reddit user pulled off this maneuver multiple times throughout the brief battle.

The first thirty seconds of the clip shows Barmy90 running toward Radahn, eventually reaching the boss. Once there, they use the Elden Ring incantation "Flame, Grant me Strength." This bit of magic not only boosts physical damage, but also fire damage, making the player’s sword very powerful. From there, they begin to tear into Radahn, perfectly dodging attacks and bringing down his health bar laughably fast. While Radahn's HP is not nearly as high as a foe like Fire Giant, it is still shocking to see it taken away so quickly.

This no-hit Elden Ring fight really takes a turn when Radahn hits half health, as the player instantly melts his HP with a few jump attacks. They do this so fast that Radahn is unable to use his most iconic attack, which normally sees him leaping into space before plummeting back toward the ground as a meteor. The player was praised heavily for their performance in the clip, with commenters particularly shocked by the spectacular DPS of their build.

Overall, the footage is yet another example of the Elden Ring community finding ways to make the game easier. With Radahn being the latest boss mastered by the community, it will be interesting to see which enemies are dominated next.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
