One of the toughest bosses in Elden Ring is the mammoth monstrosity known as Starscourge Radahn. A hulking beast, Radahn was accidently nerfed in an Elden Ring patch, though the latest update returned him to his former glory. But while Radahn is once again a decent challenge, Elden Ring players have discovered a way to cheese the boss fight and trick Radahn into killing himself.

Like many of the significant Elden Ring boss fights, the boss fight against Radahn is essentially broken up into two phases. The first phase will have players attempting to avoid Radahn's arrow shots while trying to get in close to lay in some hits. Up close, Elden Ring players have to avoid being hit by Radahn's swords, which is no easy feat. But with enough perseverance, Elden Ring players should be able to cut Radahn's health meter in half and progress to the second phase of the boss fight.

Starscourge Radahn kicks off this second phase by unleashing a devastating attack where he jumps high into the air and comes crushing down like a meteor. This attack can be deadly to Elden Ring fans that aren't careful or leveled enough, as it's capable of killing many players in a single hit. However, the attack can also be turned against Radahn, with players figuring out a way to trick the boss into killing himself with it.

Elden Ring: How to Cheese Radahn

As pointed out by Reddit user HomeGrownCrown7, Elden Ring players can trick Radahn into killing himself, allowing them to instantly win the second phase of the fight and making one of the game's tougher boss battles significantly easier. To pull this off, Elden Ring players simply need to walk to the edge of Radahn's area, near the water. If positioned correctly, Radahn will come crashing to the ground and land in the water himself. Once the attack animation is over, Radahn will fall to his death, giving Elden Ring players a quick win.

It's unclear if FromSoftware intended for this to be possible, so this Radahn cheese will be removed in a future Elden Ring update. The Elden Ring updates released so far haven't really focused on removing cheese strats from the game, instead focusing on bug fixes and even adding new content, so it's anyone's guess if this Radahn cheese will remain in the game.

FromSoftware has left the various Elden Ring rune farming spots and other exploitable areas in the game alone, so it's possible that fans won't need to worry about this Radahn cheese being removed. However, anyone wanting to try it out for themselves should make it a point to do so soon just in case it does get the boot.

Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
