A lucky Elden Ring player manages to escape an enemy encounter by making clever use of a Stonesword Key. Elden Ring features many difficult and annoying enemies that will relentlessly attack gamers, with users having little room to take a breather. Like many other FromSoftware games, Elden Ring does not feature a standard pause button, so fans have to be on their toes at all times.

Since its release in 2022, many Elden Ring players have shared videos of their lucky escapes from the various enemies and traps present throughout the world. As an example, one Elden Ring fan managed to survive an onslaught of strikes, as their opponents fell down an elevator shaft while they constantly panic-rolled to avoid the attacks. Now, another user has uploaded a video of their unbelievably lucky encounter in the game.

A Reddit user named tallpocketz715 has shared a video from Elden Ring featuring the incredible series of events that led to their escape. The video begins with the player falling off of a platform along with an enemy, only for a different foe to immediately start attacking them. The user manages to dodge a few attacks and attempts to kill their opponent, but they are attacked by another enemy as they are trying to regain some health. Tallpocketz715 then decides to get out of the area by dodging away, before coming across an underground dungeon.

However, to their surprise, the dungeon can only be accessed by using a Stonesword Key at the nearby imp statue in Elden Ring. The player then goes back up the set of stairs, uses the Stonesword Key, and goes back down again to finally reach a safe area with just a sliver of health left. This incredible series of events shows just how easily gamers can die while fighting regular enemies in Elden Ring, and why it may be essential for players to practice rolling away from their attacks.

One user in the comments section mentions that the video got more terrifying as time went on, with another fan stating that things escalated incredibly fast. Many players also share their hatred for these birds in Elden Ring, as tallpocketz715 mentions that it can be extremely difficult to deal with two of them at the same time. Overall, users appear impressed by the sheer amount of luck on display in the Elden Ring video, with a few fans claiming that tallpocketz715’s luck stat is at 99.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
