Of all the AAA FromSoftware titles to release over the last decade, Elden Ring definitely features the landmark difficulty that the studio is known for. Whether it's regular enemies or bosses, Elden Ring offers a considerable challenge for even the most experienced FromSoftware fans. There are also plenty of players who have gone out of their way to make the game even harder to play, such as the case with one particular user.

There are plenty of FromSoft fans that revel in the insane difficulty that FromSoftware can often provide, to the point where some of them add certain limitations in order to further challenge their abilities. In fact, one player even beat the final boss of Dark Souls 3 with 90 percent of the screen covered, completely blocking the majority of the player's visibility. Though, with Elden Ring, one player has managed to beat the game through extremely bizarre means.

Over on Reddit, a user named Omunchkin13 posted a video of him beating Elden Ring using an electric piano as a controller. What makes the clip rather hilarious, on top of being impressive, is that the piano is still making sounds every time a key is pressed, which adds this melodic undertone to an otherwise intense clip.

While a keyboard is certainly an unexpected and potentially frustrating tool to use in terms of beating Elden Ring, this isn't the first time that players have been able to beat FromSoftware titles through needlessly difficult means. For instance, one player managed to beat Dark Souls 3 using bananas as button inputs, which is not only impressive but also quite the feat of electrical engineering.

It's amazing to see how some players have truly embraced the soul-crushing difficulty of FromSoftware games. The fact that players are going out of their way to make these games even harder than they already are goes to show how much influence Dark Souls and FromSoftware have had on the gaming community as a whole.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what else players will do to push the limits of Elden Ring. Considering that it's the first FromSoftware game to feature open-world game design, there's a plethora of in-game content for players to test their abilities against. However, a number of fans are also looking forward to potential DLC for Elden Ring, despite nothing being confirmed by FromSoftware as of yet.

Elden Ring is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
