Elden Ring allows gamers to fully customize their builds according to their play style. They can choose to play with slower colossal weapons, inflict bleed with fast katanas, or kill enemies from afar using a variety of ranged weapons. Elden Ring fans can also use several magic spells to quickly defeat their foes.

Like the Dark Souls franchise, all weapons, sorceries, and incantations have a minimum stat requirement. Some require a set amount of Strength for users to wield them effectively, while others need a combination of stats to be above a certain level. Gamers will usually focus on leveling up two or three stats, so they will likely not be able to use some weapons in their playthrough. However, one dedicated Elden Ring player managed to get all the stats to the maximum level.

A user named DragovicPhoto shares an image of their maxed-out attributes. There are eight stats in Elden Ring: Vigor, Mind, Endurance, Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Faith, and Arcane. DragovicPhoto has leveled up all of them to 99, and they are currently at level 713. As the image shows, they require an astronomical 8914366 Runes to level up again. Many players will usually end up in the 100-150 range upon finishing Elden Ring, so DragovicPhoto has likely finished the game multiple times.

DragovicPhoto details the strategy in one of the comments. Players get increased Runes in Elden Ring’s New Game+, which further increases for each subsequent playthrough. They accomplished this by farming Albinaurics in Elden Ring and state they one run in New Game+3 gives around 100k Runes. They also used the Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot consumable item, which boosts the number of Runes acquired by defeating enemies. Later on, they mention that they have played Elden Ring for more than 400 hours. One player jokingly asks if they have maxed out all the weapons, but a couple of users claim to have achieved this seemingly impossible task.

Many users share other useful strategies for farming Runes in Elden Ring. The bird in Mohgwyn Palace seems to be a popular farming spot, and some mention the massive dragon in Caelid, which nets users 50k Runes. Many players recommend equipping the Gold Scarab talisman, which also increases the number of runes acquired upon defeating enemies. Its effect stacks with that of Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot, so gamers can take advantage of this massive boost before starting the farming run.

Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
