One unlucky Elden Ring player has an annoying experience with Leyndell Knights. Elden Ring is a massive game with multiple natural landscapes like lakes, mountains, and forests and urban dwellings like Nokron and Leyndell. Leyndell is one of the most important places in Elden Ring, as it is the capital city where the Elden Throne is present. Elden Ring gamers admire the remarkable architecture of Leyndell, a city built at the base of the mighty Erdtree.

Elden Ring gamers must have at least two Great Runes if they want to venture into Leyndell. Demigod bosses like Radahn drop Great Runes when defeated, and players can use them to gain access to the city. When inside, Leyndell presents numerous challenges to Elden Ring players, with enemies like Oracle Envoys, Duelists, and Leyndell Knights. All are dangerous in their own right, but Leyndell Knights are arguably the deadliest due to their defensive but relentless fighting style. They can be a nuisance, and one Elden Ring player had a frustrating encounter with Leyndell Knights.

Reddit user Rude-Listen uploaded a video that shows their unfortunate encounter with the famous Elden Ring enemy. The user is seen climbing the wings of a corpse of an ancient dragon, which is found near an area with three Leyndell Knights. Two of these knights wield swords, while the third prefers a Greatbow. Many Elden Ring gamers ignore these enemies and try to escape the area as soon as possible. Rude-Listen seemingly went for this strategy when they ran on top of the dead dragon in Elden Ring.

However, as the user didn't kill the Leyndell Knight with the Greatbow, they were continuously bombarded with powerful arrows at regular intervals. They avoid most arrows and rapidly climb the ancient dragon's corpse, almost reaching the top and escaping the area. As soon as the Elden Ring player is about to jump onto the next building, a lightning arrow strikes them suddenly, pushing them off the edge and causing them to fall. Ultimately, Rude-Listen died from falling and lost more than 80,000 runes in Elden Ring.

Leyndell Knights are some of the most brutal enemies in Elden Ring due to their exceptional combat skills and deadly moveset. Besides regular melee attacks, Leyndell Knights also have the ability to cause bolts of lightning to fall on their enemies, dealing additional damage. In addition, these foes can imbue their weapons with lightning to perform an overhead slash.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
