A player has shared a neat technique to cheese Elden Ring's most challenging boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Elden Ring is possibly the biggest release of the year, with countless praises for its rewarding gameplay, interactive open world, and brutal bosses. On the other hand, many fans admire Elden Ring's lore and immersive storyline that has hundreds of intriguing characters with captivating backstories.

Bosses like Malenia have become household names in the gaming world, as seen by the numerous fan art dedicated to them. A fan recently created a near replica of Malenia's Helm from Elden Ring, her protective headgear. Meanwhile, others try experimentation and trial and error to find weapons or spells that can easily defeat Malenia. Sometimes fans get lucky in trying to find the best cheese method for Malenia, like Reddit user Chegs978.

Chegs978 uploaded a video on Reddit showing their encounter with Malenia during the second phase of her fight, where she becomes even more aggressive. This is when she turns into Malenia, Goddess of Rot, and restores all her HP. The initial parts of the video show her and the user with a nearly full health bar, after which things take a dramatic turn. Chegs978 consumes a Flask of Wondrous Physick and bombards Malenia with a rare madness-based attack called Unendurable Frenzy. Astonishingly, this attack deals unbelievable amounts of damage to Malenia, ranging in thousands of DPS.

After a few successful hits, Malenia begins to stagger but quickly recovers, with her health bar depleting rapidly due to the oncoming attacks. She leaps in the air trying to make a comeback but fails as her HP bar is exhausted before she can land a hit on the player. The video is ironically titled "Comet Azur who?" possibly trying to belittle Comet Azur. Comet Azur is an Elden Ring sorcery that has been a controversial talking point with Elden Ring gamers as many videos have resurfaced where it helps in cheesing several intimidating bosses.

The original poster clearly believes that Unendurable Frenzy is a better option than Comet Azur, as seen by the post's title. Moreover, the comments section suggests many other Elden Ring gamers agree with them after comparing the required stats of both attacks. Comet Azur requires a whopping 60 intelligence, indicating that it's only suitable for players who have invested heavily in intelligence. Meanwhile, while Unendurable Frenzy also has a high faith requirement of 31, it's far lower than Comet Azur.

Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
