Elden Ring has received the latest 1.08 patch, adding many features, including the Colosseums and several new hairstyles for gamers. Elden Ring came out in February and has received many updates since its launch, with each one bringing something new for fans. The latest patch, 1.08, came out recently and was highly anticipated because of noteworthy additions like Colosseums, a new PvP mode in Elden Ring, and a few balance adjustments.

Elden Ring 1.08 has introduced three Colosseums with slightly different PvP rules, each in Caelid, Limgrave, and Leyndell. For instance, the Royal Colosseum of Leyndell has Duel Mode, where gamers fight each other to death without respawning. In contrast, the Colosseum in Caelid has the aforementioned mode and two additional ones called United Combat and Combat Ordeal. Besides the new Colosseums, the latest Elden Ring update brings other additions related to cosmetics and the character creator, like new hairstyles. A Reddit post shows that many Elden Ring gamers like the new hairstyles added to the game.

Reddit user Eliatorx brought this issue to the online Elden Ring community through an image that shows a screenshot of the character creator screen. The picture shows fourteen newly added hairstyles for a female Elden Ring character. The player has chosen Style 32 for their avatar, a popular style with two ponytails, one on either side. Other new types have previously unseen features in Elden Ring characters, like complex braided designs and curled hair.

Many members of the Elden Ring online community were unaware of the new hairstyles in patch 1.08. These fans were overjoyed to see the latest hairstyles in the game, with most praises coming for a handful of new additions. Mainly, the Redditors were looking forward to seeing Style 23 for their characters in Elden Ring, which looks nearly identical to Dante's hair from the Devil May Cry series and many anime characters. In comparison, some people were eager to try the latest braided hairstyles when they play Elden Ring in the future.

The new hairstyles in Elden Ring are undoubtedly a welcome addition, but most gamers are focused on the balance adjustments and bug fixes in the latest patch. Elden Ring 1.08 rolls out several PvP-exclusive balance adjustments, including reduced thrusting weapons counterattack damage and decreased poise damage on curved swords, axes, spears, twin-blade swords, and katanas. Furthermore, the new Elden Ring patch has a few general adjustments, like increased speed and distance on some daggers, axes, and flails.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
