Combat is among the most challenging components of Elden Ring, including boss fights. Some Elden Ring players are unhappy about how bosses attack in the game, while others are still adjusting to different fighting techniques. Many players still don't know how to parry; among them was Reddit user Spear_of_Destiny. The Redditor plays Elden Ring with the username "learning to parry." Fortunately, the Reddit user stumbled upon a helpful player who was kind enough to teach them parrying techniques. Spear_of_Destiny posted an image on Reddit that shows him going one-on-one with another player named "Gojo Sensei." According to the Reddit user, Gojo Sensei taught them how to parry with every weapon in Elden Ring.

Moreover, as per the post's title, Gojo Sensei took nearly two hours to teach parrying to Spear_of_Destiny. The Reddit user ends the post's title by thanking the "Sensei" for taking the time to teach them Elden Ring parrying techniques. In addition, the Reddit community showed its overwhelming appreciation to Gojo Sensei for being a true gamer and a hero. One user commented, "Not all heroes wear capes," and received the most upvotes. Meanwhile, other users shared some more valuable tips about parrying and different types of combat in Elden Ring. The most popular of these was to keep one's eyes on the opponent's arm instead of the weapon.

This is one of the many instances where Elden Ring players have shown their creativity in the game's PvP mode. One viral clip shows two Elden Ring players stopping their fight to clean themselves with soap, while another one shows an innovative player who uses a disguise to trick other gamers.

These viral video clips and social media posts about Elden Ring are increasing the game's popularity to an even greater extent and are responsible for attracting new gamers to the Soulslike genre.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
