Elden Ring allows for a lot of customization as a base game. There's the character creator, which has seen players make a load of unique, interesting, and sometimes ridiculous future Elden Lords, such as one fan who created Fable's Jack of Blades in the game. There are the builds available in Elden Ring too, which allow for vast amounts of variation in the way that two different players may approach combat. From bows to blades to balls of fire, Elden Ring has multiple ways to face its difficult enemies and bosses.

One thing the base game of Elden Ring doesn't allow for though, is a player wielding three swords at once. It is largely unusual for warriors to have a third sword hanging from their mouths as they enter combat, but for One Piece fans, that third blade is a mark of one of the strongest characters in the series. Zoro is a fan favorite One Piece character, being the first official crew mate to join Luffy in his search to become Pirate King. Zoro is often looking for ways to train and improve his strength, so one Elden Ring modder has given the character the chance to do just that by taking on the bosses of the game.

Using the model for Zoro from the 2016 One Piece game Burning Blood, modder Ercuallo has allowed people to take on the role of one of anime's most famous swordsmen. For Elden Ring fans wanting to try out this mod, they can download it from Ercuallo's Nexus Mods page. It should also be noted that Zoro's appearance does replace Blaidd's armor in-game, meaning players will have to earn the set before they can live out their One Piece dream. To earn Blaidd's armor in Elden Ring, a player must defeat him, which can prove tough for some considering the half-wolf's likability.

The models for Zoro's swords replace the uchigatana and rivers of blood katanas respectively in Elden Ring, meaning a player who wants to play as Zoro legitimately in the game may have to go through a bit of farming to do so. Besides creating the Zoro mod, Ercuallo also released a short video showing off the One Piece character's power in Elden Ring as he faced off against Radagon.

With it being over two months since Elden Ring first launched, mods for the game are only becoming more complex and intriguing for many fans as they offer a change from the norm in terms of gameplay. Recently, another modder allowed Elden Ring players to take on the role of Darth Vader and use twinblade lightsabers similar to Darth Maul.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
