A level 144 player in Elden Ring has died to Malenia 300 times, which could be intensely frustrating or motivational, depending on the player's mindset. The Malenia boss fight in Elden Ring is extremely difficult and can be a quitting point for many players that are unable to get past it. However, many players have conquered this battle and are always ready to share their loadouts and strategies.

Widely considered to be one of the most difficult boss battles in Elden Ring, Malenia can prove to be almost an insurmountable task for many players, especially those that are unfamiliar with FromSoftware games and their combat mechanics. Simply learning how to dodge Malenia's Waterfowl Dance move in Elden Ring can take players countless hours of practice and dying to the boss dozens of times to master.

Redditor HuzursuzlugaGerekYok posts that though they are using the same setup as the famous Elden Ring player Let Me Solo Her and are at Level 144, they have still died to Malenia 300 times. The post, however, does not come from a place of helplessness or frustration. On the contrary, HuzursuzlugaGerekYok says, "Dying to her 300 times don't even make me feel bad anymore. I started to enjoy the fight finally after getting to phase 2 consistently." They even say that they are not using any summons or spells, especially not taking the "cheesy" route of using Mimic Tear. One thing players have discovered is how to defeat Malenia using Elden Ring's Mimic Tear item in order to create an overpowered version of their own character to fight alongside them. This basically makes the fight 2v1 and makes it much easier to apply status effects and other such things. But HuzursuzlugaGerekYok decided that they do not want to go down that road and are trying to defeat her 1v1 without any gimmicks.

Online multiplayer in Elden Ring allows for players to bully Malenia and other bosses and make the fight a lot easier in that way. Luckily, Elden Ring is such a robust game that there are so many methods that players can employ to win in different ways. There are entire runs available to watch online that only use consumables or use weapons in different ways or apply new ashes of war to certain weapons for specific effects - the possibilities are nearly endless.

Elden Ring has been out for one full year and there are still so many different unique interactions, secrets and hidden paths, and many other things being discovered on a daily basis. The game is massive and a source of endless enjoyment for millions of players around the world.

Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
