Reddit user AggrsveRingworm is an Elden Ring player who relies a lot on consumables.
AggrsveRingworm uploaded a 44-second video on Reddit titled, "My shameless level 1 build, Once again feel free to rip me to shreds." The video shows a player who's invaded another world facing the host and a furled finger companion, both of whom are wielding Elden Ring shields. In contrast, AggrsveRingworm's character is wearing no armor at all and is completely unarmed with no armament in either hand. All this would suggest that the Reddit user is heading for a tough time and would die in a matter of seconds. However, what happened next was the complete opposite and something quite spectacular.
The user manages to evade the barrage of oncoming attacks and lures both enemies far away from the initial spot. At the same time, AggrsveRingworm depletes a decent chunk of their opponents' health bar by using the Throwing Dagger. The enemies eventually arrive in close proximity, after which the original poster pulls out their secret weapon. AggrsveRingworm uses another consumable item called Spark Aromatic which instantly kills both the host and the furled finger companion.
The post soon became trending on Reddit and caught the attention of the Elden Ring community, who showed their approval via almost 2,300 upvotes. The video also received hundreds of comments praising the user for their intuitiveness and awareness of Elden Ring's rare consumables like Spark Aromatic.
Spark Aromatic is one of the lesser known consumable items in Elden Ring, which uses FP to scatter powerful sparks across a wide arc in front of the player. As seen in the video, it can deal high amounts of damage under the right circumstances. Gamers can craft Spark Aromatic using Altus Bloom and Miranda Powder. Altus Bloom can be collected from the Altus Plateau region in Elden Ring, while Miranda Powder is usually found in Leyndell Royal Capital.
