A hardcore Elden Ring player named LetMeSoloThem is celebrating a stunning accomplishment, claiming to have helped thousands of players defeat the RPG's final boss. Elden Ring has established a heart-warming community culture surrounding talented players lending their skills to struggling allies, built around the game's unique summoning-based multiplayer. However, few Elden Ring players can claim to have helped thousands of players defeat the game's Elden Beast.

Elden Ring's LetMeSoloHer started this entire chaotic trend. LetMeSoloHer was known for wearing a ceramic jar on his head and being summoned to fight Malenia one-on-one, leading to a wave of fanart and copycats. In the months since, a second generation of LetMeSoloHer-inspired players have taken up his mantle like students to at the school of Elden Ring superheroes. These players have proven to be stalwart summons for many of Elden Ring's most challenging bosses.

LetMeSoloThem shared a Reddit post on Saturday morning saying that they were, "honoured by the 4000-5000 people that have summoned me for their final battle in Elden Ring." LetMeSoloThem would park themselves ahead of the Radagon and Elden Beast boss encounter that closes out Elden Ring's story, allowing them to be summoned by any and all who needed it.

With the Radagon and Elden Beast fight being one of the game's most challenging battles, it's perhaps unsurprising that a majority of LetMeSoloThem's efforts were unsuccessful. Of the 4,000-5,000 Elden Ring players that summoned her, LetMeSoloThem says only around 2,000 were successful. That's not necessarily an insult to LetMeSoloThem's skills, but evidence of how even with a summon it's difficult to protect players unfamiliar with the fights. The Elden Beast fight is especially difficult.

While LetMeSoloThem's accomplishment is incredible, they still stand in the shadow of her predecessor. LetMeSoloHer confirmed in July that he had defeated Malenia 2,000 times (at least). LetMeSoloHer's accomplishment was even celebrated by Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco, which rewarded LetMeSoloHer with a sword and other commemorative prizes.

It's now been eight months since the release of Elden Ring and the action-RPG's community continues to thrive. Elden Ring may not have the same amount of players as it used to, as those who have completed it have moved on, but fans of FromSoftware and Elden Ring in particular will linger to help late players progress like they received help earlier. And LetMeSoloHer and LetMeSoloThem are just two examples of many players helping keep Elden Ring special.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
