Just like with other FromSoftware games, Elden Ring has an active PvP community that is constantly invading and looking for fights with others online. One recent Elden Ring video spotlighted how entertaining the PvP interactions can be, with an invader’s choice to show off leading to their death.

This clip is just one of many funny Elden Ring PvP moments. Fans have shared clips of traps they have laid, tricks they have pulled by disguising themselves as NPC enemies, and goofy competitions they have had like a mine cart race. Stories have been shared of other players like the Stormveil Stalker, too, with these particular Tarnished becoming legendary within the community. As for the player that invaded Redditor LatestFIN, perhaps they could have a new reputation as an overly arrogant invader.

The clip from LatestFIN sees them being invaded in an Elden Ring mine, with their attacker pulling off a sneak attack. As LatestFIN ascends an elevator and reaches the top, the invader leaps down, starting up a special attack as they plummet toward the ground. With LatestFIN stunned, the invader lands several hits in quick succession, decimating the Redditor’s health bar with their lightning maneuver. However, despite the health bar looking completely gone, LatestFIN had a sliver of health remaining.

With LatestFIN down on their ground and their health seemingly gone, the Elden Ring invader emotes over their body. Wasting no time, the Redditor climbs off the ground and slices into their enemy with their swords, knocking them back and off the platform. With the enemy emoting and unable to react to this barrage, they are thrown off the elevator. Hilariously, this long fall kills them, seeing them punished for not making sure that LatestFIN was completely dead.

This post has done well on Reddit, as many members of the Elden Ring community have likely dealt with invaders that brag after they pick up a kill. Seeing a cocky player get their comeuppance is always enjoyable, with this particular clip bringing in over 10,000 upvotes in the time since it was posted. The best comment came from Redditor Zachfulger, who pointed out that the gesture used by the invader saw them pointing down. Sure enough, that is the direction they fell, with a major dose of karma being delivered. Others added that LatestFIN was simply meeting the request of the aggressor, sending them in the direction that they wanted to go.

Overall, this clip is a great reminder to go for an extra hit in Elden Ring PvP, even when an enemy seems dead. LatestFIN’s health bar really did look empty, so it is not shocking the invader thought the fight was over - though their mistake made for a brilliant end to the fight.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
