Elden Ring is primarily a single-player game, but users can choose to play with their friends or engage in PvP. Invasions play a significant role in the multiplayer component of Elden Ring, and players have figured out many creative ways of dispatching their opponents.

It’s becoming more common for an invader to go against more than one opponent. Fighting two or three players simultaneously is not easy, so people have started utilizing various tactics. Being sneaky seems viable in PvP, and one Elden Ring player used stealth to assassinate their opponent Assassin’s Creed style. Many people have shared clips of other interesting ways they killed the host, and one invader showed a funny video of them defeating three players with one move.

A user named gil_0_0_ was exploring the Volcano Manor legacy dungeon in Elden Ring with two friends. The three players decided to go up a lift to reach the platform above, but they probably didn’t expect to see an invader waiting for them at the top. As soon as the elevator reached its destination, the invader used the Rejection incantation to push all three off the elevator. While they didn't fall into the pool of lava, the drop was long enough to completely deplete their health. The synchronized death animation at the end makes the clip even funnier.

The invader is likely highly proud of their strategy, as they probably would have died in a three-on-one fight. One user mentions that this clip is “highlight reel stuff” for invaders. Another player also performed this move on several hosts and shared reasons why they think it is a broken Elden Ring tactic. This elevator is the only way to reach the area above, and players cannot point their cameras upward to see if someone is waiting for them.

A similar clip shows how another Elden Ring player pushed their opponents down an elevator using Rejection. In this video, the invader used a disguise and waited for the host and their friends to reach the elevator. They then ran up from behind and started spamming Rejection, pushing all three players into the gap.

Players interested in using this technique can purchase Rejection from Brother Corhyn at the Roundtable Hold for 1500 runes. It deals no damage, but the clip shows its usefulness in PvP. Players can charge Rejection for a stronger push, and it can also be used to break the enemy’s stance. Incantations, in general, are incredibly powerful, and Rejection is considered by many to be one of the top 15 Incantations in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
