In the months since the official release of Elden Ring, the game has cultivated a massive following online. With so many players posting a wide variety of fan-made content, all of which are influenced from various facets of Elden Ring, it's fascinating how much attention the game has received within such a short timeframe. Though, this most recent piece of Elden Ring fan content is comparatively more striking.

One of the many reasons why numerous players have gravitated to Elden Ring is the multitude of characters that populate the world of the game. While previous FromSoftware titles have had a plethora of memorable of NPCs, characters like Iron Fist Alexander in Elden Ring tend to leave a much greater impression on a number of players. Now, a recent piece of fan art has managed to capture the essence of various Elden Ring characters.

Over on Reddit, a user named OmarvinG94 posted a wonderfully detailed drawing of several combined Elden Ring illustrations with Ranni the Witch taking center stage. The use of monochromatic color design, as well as the different shading techniques add so much detail to this drawing. The art style almost looks reminiscent of Kentaro Miura, who was responsible for writing and drawing the Berserk manga series, which serves as one of the primary influences for not just Elden Ring, but nearly all FromSoftware games.

In addition to Ranni the Witch, many other Elden Ring characters are included within the drawing, such as Blaidd the Half-Wolf, War Counselor Iji, and Renalla, Queen of the Full Moon. All of which are presented prominently above Ranni and are thematically appropriate to include, given Ranni's separate relationships with all three of these characters.

According to the user, this art piece took almost sixty hours to complete, and it's easy to understand why, given how detailed it looks. It's interesting how fans have managed to connect the dots of Elden Ring's lore via fan art, especially considering all the implied, complex relationships these characters have with each other, despite never interacting in-game. One fan even managed to bring the demigod siblings Rykard, Ranni, and Radahn together again through Elden Ring fan art.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what other content Elden Ring fans manage to create. Given how rich and detailed the world and lore of Elden Ring is, there's plenty for Elden Ring fans to pull from on a creative level. It even has resulted in interesting crossover art, such as one fan combining Elden Ring with Animal Crossing.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
