It's been over two months since Elden Ring first launched, and players have already discovered most of what the game has to offer. From the multitude of detailed environments for players to explore to the extremely difficult bosses that populate the open world of Elden Ring, there's plenty of content for players to find. However, several pieces of side content in Elden Ring can be a bit opaque in terms of their presentation.

If there's one commonality that most FromSoftware titles share, other than the brutal difficulty of the gameplay, it's the esoteric nature of the side content. There are entire side quests in Dark Souls 3 that players can completely overlook due to the cryptic nature of their presentation, and Elden Ring is no exception to this. Luckily, one player has provided a form of visual aid in order to assist players struggling with some pieces of side content.

Over on Reddit, a user named Evoxrus_XV posted an infographic that simplifies a number of NPC quests that can be found within Elden Ring. Without giving away too many story details, each one tells the player what they need to do in order to prevent specific NPCs from getting killed or some other similarly torturous outcome.

While this infographic doesn't cover every single NPC questline in Elden Ring, it does provide players with clear insight in terms of how to approach these quests more effectively. Elden Ring possesses a litany of convoluted in-game moments that can certainly confuse a lot of new players to the point where there are items in Elden Ring that players should not purchase from merchants as they exist just to throw them off.

It's amazing to see how players have managed to help one another in Elden Ring. One of the biggest features of FromSoftware games that many fans of the studio have pointed to as being a positive trait is the intentionally high difficulty. Many diehard fans of the Dark Souls series revel in how unforgiving these games can sometimes be, but it also doesn't leave that much room for newcomers to grow.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Elden Ring going forward. Right now, there has been no confirmed DLC for Elden Ring announced but given the history of previous FromSoftware games, it's likely that DLC could still occur. Not to mention that it's only been a couple of months since Elden Ring was released, so a lot could still happen in the months to come.

Elden Ring is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
