Highroad Cave can be found within Stormhill in the northern parts of Limgrave in Elden Ring. According to the game description, Highroad Cave is occupied by Wolves, Giant Bats, and Land Octopi. Additionally, there’s a tomb hidden deep within the cave, which later turns out to be the boss’s room.
The Highroad Cave is one of the early game locations where Elden Ring players can access to collect some upgrade Materials. However, Tarnished should be careful, as the cave is much larger than it appears.
How to Get to the Highroad Cave in Elden Ring
The Highroad Cave can be found in the north-most part of Limgrave near the Saintbridge Site of Lost Grace in Elden Ring. After teleporting to the Saintbridge bonfire, there doesn’t seem to be a path leading to the cave, as the bridge is too high and surrounded by cliffs.
The only way down without taking any damage is to jump on the Spirit Spring on the right side of the bridge near the Saintbridge Site of Lost Grace.
After jumping down the river using Torrent, sprint north past the Land Octopi and enter through the Highroad Cave’s entrance on the left (west) side of the wall. Light the Site of Lost Grace, and make sure to bring a torch, equip a small lamp, or use an Elden Ring Spell to light the path, as the highroad Cave is dark.
Highroad Cave Walkthrough In Elden Ring
To start off, head north through the entrance, then jump down carefully into the opening on the ground while using the small platforms to minimize the damage.
Proceed down into the only route until reaching a large room filled with Wolves that are ready to ambush from all directions. After defeating the wolves, jump down through another opening in the ground to continue exploring the Highroad Cave.
From here, there are two routes. Take the path that leads down, since the other is a dead end. Eventually, another chamber that’s inhabited by Wolves will appear. Defeat them and proceed northeast to a large area where a waterfall is going through.
Next, players would want to advance left and jump down the platform below. Keep walking northeast, then leap onto the top of the waterfall.
Now, this is a tricky part, as Tarnished must make a powerful jump and land on the platform before the broken pillar below, otherwise they won’t be able to proceed. From the broken column, move forward to the circular platform and pick up the Elden Ring weapon, Shamshir.
The last step is to turn southwest and hop to another broken pillar. Proceed behind the waterfall until players find the boss.
Defeat the boss to complete the Highroad Cave and obtain the Elden Ring Talisman, Blue Dancer Charm.
Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
