An Elden Ring player finds and shares a new detail about the game's gravity magic. Elden Ring is a game with a lot of build variety, as players can become Elden Lord wielding anything from the once overpowered Rivers of Blood katana to the simple club a Tarnished starts with if they choose the Wretch class. Something that many players have noticed is the increased focus on magic in FromSoftware's latest action RPG. From glintstone sorceries to powerful spells taken from Elden Ring's dragons, a Tarnished can wield plenty of different magical abilities through their journey.

Gravity spells are another type of magic in Elden Ring, and while these sorceries can contain some devastating spells, they can be ignored by some players. Gravity sorceries include the Rock Sling and Gravity Well spells, alongside some more devastating, endgame attacks such as Meteorite of Astel, which is picked up after defeating the Astel, Naturalborn of the Void boss in Elden Ring. Even if these might not be the most effective spells for taking down some of the game's tougher bosses, there are still plenty of secret details hidden within the weapons and abilities tied to gravity magic.

One player on Reddit, known as upvoteforOP, recently discovered an interesting detail regarding the symbol used to depict gravity magic. As shown by a few images posted on the Elden Ring subreddit, the symbol for gravity spells is an illustration of a magnetic field, showing a neat detail implemented by FromSoftware. What is also interesting is that upvoteforOP spotted this on their Radahn greatsword.

It is interesting that an illustration of a magnetic field is shown on General Radahn's greatsword, as in the Ranni quest in Elden Ring, it is revealed that the giant boss had such a mastery over Gravity magic that he could stop the stars from moving. This is why when the player manages to beat General Radahn, shooting stars fly all around the sky above the Lands Between, and a comet crashes into the ground near Limgrave, opening up the path to Nokron.

This shows that while Gravity magic might not scale as well into the late game as other sorceries, it still has some incredible powers in the lore. Besides this interesting note about Gravity magic, plenty of other details have been discovered around Elden Ring since the game launched. From players finding out about the secret intentions of a character, to discovering more lore about Elden Ring's demigods, FromSoftware packed its latest game with plenty of things to uncover.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
