Elden Ring builds on the legacy of the Dark Souls series, adding open-world exploration to the genre-defining blend of deadly bosses and punishing deaths. FromSoftware's Soulslike titles often share similar mechanics, and Elden Ring's version of the iconic Estus Flask is the Flask of Crimson Tears.

Players carry a limited number of Flasks of Crimson Tears, which refresh whenever they die or rest at a Site of Grace. Fortunately, it's possible to increase the number of these Flasks that can be carried by using Golden Seeds at a Site of Grace. These Seeds are extremely rare, and players will only need 30 in the entire game to upgrade their Flask capacity to max.

Limgrave Golden Seed Locations

There are six Golden Seeds to be found in Elden Ring's Limgrave region:

1. In Fringefolk Hero's Grave, after defeating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.
2. In Stormhill, on the road after passing through the Stormgate on the way to the Stormhill Shack.
3. At Stormhill Shack, in the spot where Roderika was sitting if players skip Stormveil castle and go to Roundtable Hold or give her the Chrysalid's Memento.
4. In Mistwood, outside the gates of Fort Haight.
5. Northeast Limgrave, by killing the quest NPC Kenneth Haight.
6. In the Weeping Peninsula, just north of the road that runs down to Castle Morne, to the northwest of the poison swamp.

Stormveil Castle Golden Seed Locations

There are only two Golden Seeds in Stormveil Castle:

1. In the Stormveil Castle underground area, after defeating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.
2. In the Stormveil grounds, under an Erdtree sapling just before the Troll fight and Godrick the Grafted's boss room.

Liurnia of the Lakes Golden Seed Locations

There are five Golden Seeds in Liurnia of the Lakes, all of which can be found in the center of the lake area:

1. In the Academy Gate Town, under an Erdtree sapling just off the ruined road that leads up from the southeast.
2. In the Raya Lucaria Academy courtyard, under an Erdtree sapling to the northwest of the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace.
3. On the broken bridge to the northeast of the Raya Lucaria Academy, accessed by going around the seal at Main Academy Gate Site of Grace.
4. On the upper level of Caria Manor, shortly after ascending the elevator from the lower level and unlocking the Manor Upper-Level Site of Grace.
5. In the Liurnia Northern Ravine, under an Erdtree Sapling near the Ravine-Veiled Village Site of Grace.

Caelid Golden Seed Locations

There are four Golden Seeds in the Scarlet Rot infested region of Caelid:

1. On the road to Redmane Castle, just to the southwest of the southern Caelid Map Fragment.
2. In Sellia Town of Sorcery, on an overlook to the north of the town.
3. In the War-Dead Catacombs, obtained by defeating the Putrid Tree Spirit boss.
4. To the southeast of the Bestial Sanctum, close to the road.

Underground Regions Golden Seed Locations

There are four Golden Seeds in Elden Ring's Siofra River, Nokstella, Mohgwyn Palace, and Lake of Rot underground areas:

1. In Siofra River, on a cliff overlooking the woods to the south-west of the Below the Well Site of Grace.
2. In the northwest of Nokstella, Eternal City, after following a southern path downward from the Moon of Nokstella temple, and riding an elevator to ground level.
3. In the southern cistern of the Lake of Rot, guarded by an Ulcerated Tree Spirit.
4. In the Mohgwyn Palace lake of Rot, on a rock in the center of the lakes. Players who pick up this Mohgwyn Golden Seed first and then reload the area will not be able to pick up the one near the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint.
5. On a body near the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint Site of Grace, players who pick up this Mohgwyn Golden Seed first and then reload the area will not be able to pick up the one in the Rot lakes.

Altus Plateau Golden Seed Locations

There are four Golden Seeds to be found in the Altus Plateau:

1. On the western side of the Plateau, just to the north of the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace.
2. On the road, to the north of the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace.
3. North of the Minor Erdtree, in the woods just before the collapsed bridge.
4. On the northeast side of the Plateau, just to the southwest of the Highway Lookout Tower.

Mt Gelmir Golden Seed Locations

There are only two Golden Seeds to be found in the volcanic region of Mt Gelmir:

1. At the southern entrance to the Mt Gelmir region, found under an Erdtree sapling just after passing the chasm from Seethewater River.
2. In the far northwest of Mt Gelmir, to the northwest of the Road of Iniquity Site of Grace.

Leyndell, Royal Capital Golden Seed Locations

There are seven Golden Seeds to be found in Leyndell and the Capital Outskirts:

1. At the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace, there are actually two Golden Seeds under the nearby Erdtree sapling.
2. Just to the south of the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace, obtained by defeating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.
3. In the Center of the Leyndell Outskirts, 2 more Golden Seeds under a larger Erdtree sapling similar to the one at the Outer Wall Site of Grace.
4. In an open area to the northwest of the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace, obtained by defeating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.
5. On a balcony, southwest of the West Capital Rampart Site of Grace and defended by a Gargoyle.

Mountaintops of the Giants Golden Seed Locations

There are six Golden Seeds available in Elden Ring's Mountaintops of the Giants region:

1. Along the path through the Forbidden Lands, on the southern side near the Black Blade Kindred boss fight.
2. In the Consecrated Snowfield snowstorm, beside a larger pillar directly to the northeast of the Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace.
3. In the Consecrated Snowfield, down a small cliff to the west of the Ordina Liturgical Town Site of Grace.
4. On Flame Peak, in the raised area to the northeast of the Foot of the Forge Site of Grace.
5. In a dead-end site path leading south from the frozen river, directly to the south of the Freezing Lake Site of Grace.
6. In the Giant's Mountaintop Catacombs, obtained by defeating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.

Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree Golden Seed Locations

There is only one Golden Seed available in the Haligtree:

1. Found inside the tree itself, at the second lake of rot. Accessed from the Haligtree Roots or Drainage Channel Site of Grace, and obtained by defeating an Ulcerated Tree Spirit.

Crumbling Farum Azula Golden Seed Locations

There are two Golden Seeds to be found in the end-game Legacy Dungeon, Crumbling Farum Azula:

1. Found under some pillars to the south of the fountain plaza, an area that is only accessible once players have reached the Dragon Temple and ascended the nearby elevator.
2. Found among another set of pillars on the north-east side of Crumbling Farum Azula, turn left after crossing the bridge that is defended by the lightning-summoning dragon.
