Elden Ring is a massive open world game filled with all kinds of horrors and monstrosities to torment players. Some of these monstrosities are especially grotesque, like the optional Godskin Apostles bosses that players can encounter at various locations in the Lands Between. Like other Elden Ring bosses, the Godskin Apostles have their own theme music, and one fan has now translated the Latin lyrics to English with horrifying results.
When Elden Ring players are battling the Godskin Apostles, they'll hear an intense song in the background, though the lyrics are all in Latin. YouTuber Daniel Olmos has provided a translation for the Godskin Apostles' theme, and while Olmos admits the translation may not be 100% accurate, it should still give fans a good idea of what's being said. Those interested in the full lyrics are encouraged to check out Olmos' video, but some of the freakier lyrics include: Give me your skin, Flame burns the skin of the gods, I will collect the skin of the gods, I hunt them relentlessly, With sacred skin I will be a god, The death of gods has uplifted me, skin of the gods has uplifted me, Sacred skin belongs to me and nobody else.
As evident by the lyrics, the Godskin Apostles' name is more literal than Elden Ring fans may have realized. It also makes them even more intimidating, as they have apparently been successful in killing gods and crafting armor from their skin, which makes them a powerful enemy, to say the least.
The Godskin Apostles are encountered at various different points in the Lands Between. Players will find one in Spiritcaller's Cave, the Windmill Village, and the Divine Tower of Caelid. Fighting a Godskin Apostle can be a challenging experience for Elden Ring players, but the toughest encounter with one by far is when players have to fight both a Godskin Apostle and a Godskin Noble at the same time.
The Godskin Duo boss fight in Elden Ring is considered by the community to be one of the tougher encounters in the game. The fight is no joke, as both the Godskin Apostle and Godskin Noble have unique attacks that are difficult to dodge when fighting just one at a time, let alone both of them. Add in the fact that the fight takes place in a fairly cramped room at Crumbling Farum Azula, and it's no surprise that many Elden Ring fans consider it to be one of the tougher encounters in the game.
