It's been over two months since Elden Ring launched, and in that time, players have managed to discover quite a lot about the game. With deep, rich lore to dive into, engaging gameplay mechanics, and a litany of bosses, enemies, and equipment to encounter, Elden Ring certainly has a lot to offer its player base in terms of spectacle and interactivity. However, that doesn't exactly mean that Elden Ring is without any technical hiccups.

Despite being such a visually stunning game, Elden Ring does possess a number of glitches and bugs that can sometimes break the composition of the experience. Some of these glitches can even make Elden Ring ridiculously harder than it already is, such as one recently discovered glitch that causes Malenia to become invincible. Though, another new glitch is much more humorous in nature.

Over on Reddit, a user named Kazu215 posted a brief clip showing the user playing Elden Ring with a couple of friends. During active gameplay, the user noticed that one of their teammates started to run through the air and continued to travel several feet off the ground for a significant period of time. While it's unclear how this glitch was triggered, it is quite hilarious to watch.

While glitches aren't exactly uncommon occurrences within FromSoftware titles, the ones found in Elden Ring have been rather unexpected, to say the least. In addition to this walking on air bug, there's another glitch in Elden Ring that allows players to walk on lava, as well as numerous examples of player characters and NPCs clipping through the ground to otherwise inaccessible parts of the environment.

It's amazing how much content there is within Elden Ring compared to other FromSoftware games. Most other games in the Dark Souls series are quite linear, despite still managing to have some open-ended elements. Given the open-world nature of Elden Ring, it's possible that this has allowed glitches and bugs to occur more frequently during active gameplay.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Elden Ring going forward. While DLC for Elden Ring has yet to be confirmed, there is a massive amount of potential for it. Considering the size and scale of Elden Ring's world, it would allow for additional locations and bosses for players to encounter, while still managing to remain diegetic with what's already presented within Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
