One unlucky Elden Ring player found themselves pinned down by several Glintstone Sorcerers while traversing through Raya Lucaria Academy. Legacy Dungeons are a good way for Elden Ring players to go back to FromSoftware's older, more linear games, as these locations follow a more linear pathway, leading the player from one point to the last area, where there is usually the major boss. These dungeons would include multiple other bosses, traps, and hidden pathways that reward players for their exploration. One player managed to explore a bit too much, and found themselves stuck behind a statue.

Raya Lucaria Academy will most likely be the second legacy dungeon players come across in Elden Ring, taking place after they have explored a good amount of Liurnia of the Lakes, the second open world area just after Limgrave. A large, sprawling academy, Raya Lucaria is filled with all kinds of creatures like Silver Crabs and several of its own soldiers. However, one of the more prominent enemies in the academy are its magic users, the Glintstone Sorcerers wearing the huge stone masks that wander the halls. If they spot the player, they will begin to pelt them with Glintstones until they die.

This is how one unlucky player found themselves in such a precarious situation in Elden Ring's Raya Lucaria Academy. Posting to r/Eldenring, user coheed85 uploaded a video of a rather hilarious circumstance they happened to become a part of. In the video, with a topic simply titled "Send help," the player is hiding behind one of the many statues in Raya Lucaria while several Glintstone Sorcerers, seeming to be 6 or more, are keeping him behind it by pelting the statue with tons of glintstones, almost like a hail of bulletfire on a battlefield.

Many players have had horrid deaths in Elden Ring's Raya Lucaria Academy, so being shot down by a hail of glintstones wouldn't be the worst way to go. However, many in the comments did provide strategies to try and get them out of the sticky situation, from the more courageous strategy of running out and taking them on, to the safer one of picking them off one at a time from behind the statue with a crossbow.

Elden Ring can be an unpredictable experience for many players, putting them in spots they wouldn't want to be in because they weren't prepared for whatever the game has to throw at them. It's times like this where the game's Legacy Dungeons shine, as in the open world, they probably could've been able to escape by running in another direction. But since it's the more linear Legacy Dungeon, they will have to escape the multiple enemies shooting at them another way.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
