Though the game has died down in popularity after its explosive release and subsequent months of dominance, Elden Ring doesn't seem to be giving up. Instead, Elden Ring has followed the pattern of past FromSoftware games: burst onto the scene and continue a steady stream of success by catering to a dedicated fan base.

To cater to the aforementioned fan base, FromSoftware has continually released patches for the game such as the Elden Ring Malenia lifesteal hotifx. Though some long-term veterans of FromSoftware's games cry out against any patches that change bosses, much of the player base is thankful for FromSoftware's dedication to the game as well as its willingness to pay attention and listen.

This has led to a strong online presence for the game, especially on the website Reddit. A thriving subreddit exists for the game and is flooded with tons of daily posts; these range from posts about builds or character creators to hilarious clips of Elden Ring enemies epicly dodging attacks. A recent post falls into the aforementioned build category, and it sports a wacky combination of weapons and armor that many gamers would call true "five-head" gameplay.

"Five-head" is a term that implies a smart or strategic display, such as a game-winning play or an intelligent strategy executed to perfection. Conversely, it can also be used sarcastically, and is applicable in cases like an Elden Ring player dying while trying to ladder troll someone. In this case, it is actually neither of these meanings, as Reddit user ScuddlesVHB meant it quite literally when describing their build. The build consists of a series of weapons and armor that each feature some sort of head on them, thus making it the "five-head" build due to the 5 heads that comprise it.

The post has exploded on the game's subreddit, garnering thousands of upvotes and hundreds of comments. One thread of comments pointed out that the current 5 heads could easily be increased by swapping out certain armor or weapons. One user even said that if the Godskin armor's faces were counted as heads that it could be possible to reach a staggering 17 heads throughout the build. Though this amount seems a tad excessive, surely 17 heads must be better than 5.

Regardless of differing opinions on what constitutes a head, ScuddlesVHB's build is a comical showcase that could probably find itself among Elden Ring's most impractical armor sets. Now, the hope is that future DLC will increase the cap on the current "five-head" gameplay limit.

Elden Ring is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
