One talented Elden Ring player makes remarkably accurate variants of Kratos, the main protagonist of the God of War series. Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok are possibly the two biggest releases of the year, with each getting multiple wins at The Game Awards. Elden Ring clinched the Game of The Year title, while God of War Ragnarok won six awards, higher than any other.

Both games have received incredible critical and commercial success worldwide. Quite often, fans of Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok engage in witty banter, as one group believes their favorite title is better than the other. A handful of people take this too seriously, as some Elden Ring fans deliberately gave negative reviews to God of War Ragnarok on websites like Metacritic. On the other hand, many gamers enjoy both titles, and one pays tribute to the God of War franchise by making Kratos in Elden Ring.

Reddit user Mar_Reddit uploaded a video that shows their Elden Ring avatar right from the character creator screen. This character resembles Kratos from the original God of War game from 2005, where he battles ancient Greek gods armed with the Blades of Chaos. Mar_Reddit's Kratos has nearly identical features to the original, including his iconic red tattoo, facial hair, and body structure. The video continues to show Kratos in action, fighting Elden Ring enemies with a flail-like weapon, giving a feel of his signature Blades of Chaos.

The next section of the video shows the second variant of Kratos, from the latest God of War titles set in the Norse Era. This Kratos is much older and has a distinguishable beard. Like the one before, bearded Kratos also bears an uncanny resemblance and wields an axe that looks like the famous Leviathan Axe. The user slays multiple Elden Ring enemies using the Leviathan Axe with similar moves seen in God of War Ragnarok. The Reddit community admired Mar_Reddit's work and wanted to know the exact parameters they used to create Kratos in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring fans are known to be highly imaginative when it comes to creating their characters. Moreover, the character creator received a bunch of new cosmetic items like hairstyles in the latest update, giving Elden Ring fans more freedom to be creative with their avatars. As a result, people are making random figures using the tool, like Harley Quinn, Mike Tyson, and Sailor Moon in Elden Ring. Besides the new hairstyles, the latest update added a brand new PvP mode called Colosseums.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
