Following in the iconic footsteps of previous Soulsborne RPGs, Elden Ring is one recent title that has quite the brooding atmosphere. Set in a world partly created by Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, the Lands Between is a twisted gaming landscape masterfully tailor-made by the developers to invoke a sense of wanderlust into the player, alongside eerie looming feelings of dread and danger. So, when players pay homage to the game via various forms of fan art, they tend to amplify the horror-focused aspects of the game. However, this upcoming artist has wonderfully interpreted the game in a much brighter light.

While the environment itself has lent a big hand in making the Lands Between such a visually iconic setting for players, the monsters that roam above it have also proved to be just as memorable. Since the game's debut in February, many of Elden Ring's bosses and NPCs have already become indelibly established in gaming pop culture, with fans proving in the short time following the release of the game that they have a lot of fondness to show to these cast of characters.

After all, this love from fans is because there are very few contemporary video games that offer the same amount of challenging yet fun bosses quite like Elden Ring. While the game features a broad and diverse cast of iconic bosses, Radagon of the Golden Order has proven to be one of the more beloved bosses in Elden Ring. Found later in the game when players make it to the Elden Throne, Radagon has received plenty of art from fans who were captivated by the boss's distorted yet intricate appearance. However, Reddit user pankisiel1 has shared a cutesy design that imagines the dismal demigod as an adorable hedgehog.

Once a looming, fractured god wielding a soul-crushing hammer, pankisiel1's friend has brilliantly transformed Radagon into a teensy-weensy hedgehog that has captured the hearts of the Elden Ring Reddit community. Quickly racking up over 650 upvotes, it's clear gamers could not get enough of the hedgehog Radagon's cute tiny fingers and dumpy legs. Just like the in-game version of Radagon, this critter interpretation features the elden ring inside its plump belly, as well as imitating Ragagon's half-torn face that exposes its skull, although in a much more adorable style this time around.

In summary, the Elden Ring community was pleasantly quick to show their adoration and support for the creator since they were more than happy to see an alternate version of one of their favorite characters. Surprisingly, this isn't the first time fans have shared sweet variations of the game, as one artist recently combined Elden Ring and Animal Crossing.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
