Elden Ring, like any modern FromSoftware title, has a massive boss count full of challenging foes. Some are more difficult than others, though, with the Fallingstar Beast being one of the most problematic mini bosses in all of Elden Ring - something that makes a recent clip all the more memorable.

There are three versions of the Fallingstar Beast that players will find when exploring the Lands Between. The first can be encountered in Caelid, as it awaits players at the end of the Sellia Crystal Tunnel. With its arena being extremely tight and leaving players with no room to maneuver around the massive creature, they will often be hit by its endless stream of attacks. Another can be seen in the Atlas Plateu, while the Fullgrown Fallingstar Beast found at Mt. Gelmir serves as the final version. These two are a bit easier, as players have more open areas to fight the ox-like enemies in, though they can still be a major pain to take down.

The Fallingstar Beast constantly attacking and being so hard to read is what makes the battle such a challenge, as it is hard for players to determine when and where to attack. With it also being immune to bleeding and frost damage, many popular builds will be little help against the fast, gravity-wielding creature. For players who found themselves dying constantly to this enemy, a recent clip from Reddit user CapnHarland should prove incredibly satisfying. In the footage, they take down the Fullgrown Fallingstar Beast without taking damage.

This feat is pulled off using one of Elden Ring’s bows, with the Redditor needing no other weapon to take down the boss. Between dashes, the Fallingstar Beast is hit with a barrage of arrows, with each volley doing a good chunk of damage. Once the Redditor gets out of range of the boss’s gravity attacks, they really lay into the enemy. After a perfectly executed dodge when it looked like the Fallingstar Beast was going to finally hit CapnHarland, the player felled their foe.

Much like other skilled players such as the legendary "Let Me Solo Her," the Redditor enters this fight with nearly no armor. The confidence did not end there, though, as the Redditor also went into the battle with a sliver of health - showcasing their confidence in themselves to complete the fight without getting hit. Alongside 4,400 upvotes, the comments were filled with praise, with one viewer dubbing the Redditor’s bow an “AK-47” due to its fire rate.

For those interested in using this Elden Ring build, the Redditor revealed that they used a Black Bow with regular arrows, the Grant Me Strength vow, and the Arrow’s Sting talisman. With this setup, players can dish out revenge on the once-annoying Fallingstar Beast.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
