Talismans in Elden Ring are equippable items that enhance one or more of a player's attributes or abilities. There are dozens and dozens of Talismans to find spread throughout the Lands Between, including many with stronger versions that can be acquired without starting New Game Plus.

Some Talismans, like Erdtree's Favor, slightly enhance a variety of stats - in this case, HP, Equipment Load, and Max Stamina. Because its effects are relatively minor, the Erdtree's Favor Talisman in Elden Ring is one that proves more useful in the early game than the late game – luckily, it can be found almost immediately upon arriving in Limgrave.

Equip Load, HP, And Stamina Are All Increased Slightly

  • "It is said that when the Age of the Erdtree began, such blessings were personally bestowed upon their recipients by Queen Marika herself."

The Erdtree's Favor Talisman increases stats that just about every build can benefit from. Though it has a relatively high weight of 1.5 (most Talismans weigh about 0.3 to 1), the Erdtree's Favor Talisman counteracts this with a small increase to a player's Equip Load. Additionally, Max Health and Max Stamina are increased. All three of these attributes are increased by different percentage-based amounts.

HP is the least affected as it's only increased by 3% - a player with 1000 HP will get 30 extra HP. Equip Load is increased by 5%, which can scale significantly if you play a build with a lot of Endurance, but at low levels, this is only about enough to counter the weight of the Erdtree's Favor Talisman itself. Stamina sees the most noticeable increase, though, at a decent 7%.

Where To Find The Erdtree's Favor Talisman In Elden Ring

The Erdtree's Favor Talisman can be found in Fringefolk Hero's Grave, which is itself located behind an Imp Statue Fog Wall at the Stranded Graveyard, the first Site of Lost Grace in Elden Ring. You will have to use two Stonesword Keys to access the first room. It's ankle-deep with poisonous water, so sprint to the end as soon as you drop off the ladder. You will enter a long, steep hallway, but don't go too far – a large golden spiked chariot patrols these corridors. When the chariot turns to go down, run behind it as fast as you can and look for an alcove to duck into on the right.

Wait for it to pass again, then sprint down to another right-hand alcove. A skeletal archer will spawn here right as you arrive, so prepare a jumping attack or dodge past it to avoid being run over. From here, you should see another slope below that leads to a narrow bridge-like segment. When it's safe, sprint to the right side of this narrow walkway and drop to a small ledge. Keep moving forward until you enter a room with a longer, wider bridge. Avoid the Grafted Scions that spawn on the bridge as you approach, and you'll find the Erdtree's Favor Talisman on an altar.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
