Elden Ring's lore is quite intriguing and includes several pivotal events like the shattering of the Elden Ring and the war that followed. The lore also talks about the Tarnished and how they were exiled from the Lands Between after losing the blessing of Grace. Regardless, the most famous event during the war of the shattering was the gruesome battle between two demigods, Starscourge Radahn and Malenia the Severed. Remnants of this battle can still be seen when players face Radahn, as pointed out by a Reddit user.
Reddit user Morgn_Ladimore deserves credit for discovering an intriguing detail about Starscourge Radahn and the arrows he uses during the boss fight. The user has shared an image on social media that sparked a thought-provoking debate in the comments section. The picture is a screenshot of Radahn boss fight when he fires a volley of massive arrows toward the player. Interestingly, Morgn_Ladimore points out that these are not technically arrows but are spears used by Cleanrot Knights in Elden Ring.

The user suggests these spears are the same ones that Malenia and her army used to attack Radahn during the war, which took place during the shattering of the Elden Ring. Radahn was afflicted by Scarlet Rot during the war of the shattering, causing him to go insane and reducing him to a state of immense rage. Meanwhile, others pointed out that these spears cannot be crafted and must be farmed by killing Cleanrot Knights in Heart of Aeonia region in Caelid, with a very low drop rate. Some users also hinted at the fact that Radahn pulls arrows from his back instead of a quiver.
Besides the Cleanrot Knight spears, the Radahn boss fight is unique in many aspects, mainly because of the numerous NPC summons allowed. Players can summon multiple non-playable characters to assist them in Radahn boss fight, including Patches, Blaidd, Iron Fist Alexander, Lionel the Lionhearted, and Bloody Finger Okina. Players need to progress far enough in Ranni's questline to unlock the boss fight with Radahn. He drops Remembrance of the Starscourge, Radahn's Great Rune, and 70,000 runes upon defeat.
