As with many Status Effects in Elden Ring, resistances can lessen the severity of Poison. In particular, a high Immunity will make players less susceptible to this harmful effect. So, having a cure for this deadly Status Effect is recommended. There are two methods for curing Poison in Elden Ring: Neutralizing Boluses and the Cure Poison Spell. Both are equally effective in alleviating this detrimental Status Effect. Even so, the requirements for each cure vary significantly. Thus, demanding players to determine which method is more practical for their character and playstyle.

Neutralizing Boluses

Neutralizing Boluses are consumable items that players can purchase or craft. Players can buy these items from various vendors, the most notable being the Nomadic Merchant found southeast of the Coastal Cave, who sells them for 600 Runes. Alternatively, players can purchase the Armorer's Cookbook [2] from the same vendor for 600 Runes, granting them the Neutralizing Boluses Crafting Recipe. With that, players can create this Poison alleviating agent using Herba, Cave Moss, and a Great Dragonfly Head.

Cure Poison Spell

The Cure Poison Spell is a low-cost Incantation that most players can utilize. Players can learn this Incantation from Brother Corhyn found at the Roundtable Hold for 1,000 Runes. The Cure Poison Spell requires a Faith stat of 10 to use and costs 7 Focus Points to cast. Thus, making this spell a viable option for most characters capable of learning and casting Incantations. The only downside of the Cure Poison Spell is its slow casting time, which may prove dangerous in particular circumstances.

Elden Ring is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
