The Converted Fringe Tower is a location in Elden Ring that is situated just east of the Minor Erdtree in northeast Liurnia. Find Second Glintstone Key in Raya Lucaria Academy
While players will need to get their hands on an Academy Glintstone Key before they can enter the Raya Lucaria Academy in Elden Ring, there is also a second copy of the key to be found within the location. To obtain this second Glintstone Key, fans should work their way to the Academy's Debate Parlor Site of Grace. From this position, players should make their way northward into the large courtyard and then head west to the ramp that is formed from rubble.
Fans should now scale that ramp and continue northward up a flight of stairs, dodging and rolling to avoid the attacks from Elden Ring's Raya Lucaria Sorcerers. At the top of the stairs, players should turn to the left, jump over the banister, and climb the stairs that are in front of them. At the top of this second flight, fans should once again turn to the left and jump over yet another banister to land on a rooftop.
Elden Ring players must now traverse the roofs of the Raya Lucaria Academy until they arrive at the Church of the Cuckoo, a building that is passed through earlier in the level. While this route to the church is fairly linear, fans can see it demonstrated in the video that is above. Then, once a player has arrived at the church, they should enter through one of the open windows, fall onto the chandelier with the item, and loot it to obtain the second Academy Glintstone Key.
Get a Glintstone Crown in Raya Lucaria Academy
Before players leave the Academy of Raya Lucaria, they should make sure to kill a Glintstone-covered crab in order to obtain a Glintstone Crown. While there are a couple of crabs that will provide a suitable headpiece, the simplest one to reach is near to the Academy's Debate Parlor Site of Grace in Elden Ring. For full clarity, here is a walkthrough of exactly how to reach that creature:
- Go north into the large courtyard.
- Go under the bridge at the northwest corner, near the large mechanical enemy.
- Walk forward to the ledge and turn to the left.
- The crab is in the corner, where the stone walls make a right angle.
Take Academy Glintstone Key to Church of Irith
With the Glintstone Key in hand, players should make their way to the Church of Irith in south Liurnia. There is an NPC in this location known as Sorcerer Thops, and fans should give the key to him by selecting the following dialogue options: "talk," "about the glintstone key," "give the Academy Glintstone Key." This transaction will result in players earning the Erudition gesture in Elden Ring, and they now have everything that they need to bypass the seal in the Converted Fringe Tower.
Break Seal at Converted Fringe Tower
After returning to the Converted Fringe Tower, players should equip the Glintstone Crown, stand in front of the seal, and perform the Erudition gesture. This will ultimately cause the barrier to dissipate, allowing fans to scale the tower and collect Cannon of Haima and Gavel of Haima, powerful Elden Ring sorceries, from the chest at the top.
