The Carian Slicer is one of the Carian Sorceries' Spells that can be acquired through certain methods in Elden Ring. Like other Sorceries of this kind, players can boost its damage using the Carian Glintstone Staff.
This spell is great for PvP in Elden Ring, as the Carian Slicer allows players to perform quick slashes dealing decent damage to enemies up close. Additionally, the spell can be used as a follow-up after other spells without waiting for the attack to cool down.
Where To Find The Carian Slicer In Elden Ring
The Carian Slicer can be purchased from either Sorceress Sellen, Miriel Pastor of Vows, or Preceptor Seluvis for 1,500 Runes. The spell will only appear after Elden Ring players give the Royal House Scroll to one of the three aforementioned NPCs.
The Royal House Scroll can be found on the broken ruins, guarded by a Sorcerer enemy east of Agheel Lake South Site of Lost Grace in Limgrave.
Sorceress Sellen Location In Elden Ring
Sorceress Sellen can be located in various locations once players start her quest in Elden Ring. However, she teaches Spells in her first and last location only. Sellen’s first location is inside Waypoint Ruins near Agheel Lake South Site of Lost grace. The Sorceress is guarded by Mad Pumpkin Head.
The last location is inside Raya Lucaria Grand Library in Liurnia of the Lakes. Sellen has two forms in this area; her normal human shape and a School of Graven Mages.
Keep in mind that the Sorceress will be in her last spot once players complete her questline. Once Tarnished find her, give her the Scroll, and the Carian Slicer will be available for purchase.
Miriel Pastor Of Vows Location In Elden Ring
Miriel Pastor of Vows is a giant creature that resembles a turtle who's very knowledgeable about the history of the Lands Between. The pastor is found inside the Church of Vows near the Eastern Tableland Site of Lost Grace, Liurnia of the Lakes. After obtaining the Royal House Scroll, give it to Miriel, and he’ll teach Tarnished the Carian Slicer.
It’s also worthy of note that there’s a statue of lady Rennala in the Church of Vows that requires the Elden Ring Celestial Dew to perform absolution.
Preceptor Seluvis Location In Elden Ring
Like Sorceress Sellen, players need to beat a boss to reach Preceptor Seluvis. After defeating Royal Knight Loretta in Elden Ring, the Three Sisters area will be accessible. Head to Seluvis Rise to trigger his questline, and accept Seluvis's Potion.
There are various methods to use the potion, so it’s up to what players desire. Next, speak with Seluvis again to unlock him as a merchant. Finally, hand him the Scroll and purchase the Carian Slicer for 1,500 Runes.
