FromSoftware's Elden Ring features one of the most customizable character creation systems available in a Soulsborne game, allowing gamers an unprecedented level of control over how their character looks and dresses. This means that many players have the ability to turn the Tarnished into characters from other franchises. Now, one Elden Ring player goes above and beyond and makes an entire character build based on Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach.

Bleach was one of the biggest shonen anime of the last two decades, and for good reason. The series featured some of the shonen genre's most terrifying villains, incredibly high stakes, and a massive cast of vivid characters. Its protagonist, Ichigo, personified many of its themes regarding conviction, overcoming grief, and doing whatever you have to in order to keep those you love safe.

TikTokker ecowhisperart shared a short TikTok dedicated to showcasing their attempt to fully implement Ichigo into Elden Ring. This isn't the first time an anime fan has tried to turn the Tarnished into an iconic anime character, but ecowhisperart's Ichigo build includes attempts to recreate the character's iconic weapons and techniques. The Elden Ring recreation of Ichigo features a massive blade reminiscent of the character's oversized blade Zangetsu, dark robes similar to his black kimono, and even a Bankai transformation. However, it also features some of Ichigo's more supernatural abilities.

According to the video, this build includes Ichigo's powerful Getsuga Tensho attack, which lets him send a massive shockwave or crescent-shaped blade of energy from his sword. It also features a "Blood Art" that allows the character to seemingly set his blade on fire and even a quick step function that imitates the Flash Step technique. In Bleach, most characters use a form of the Flash Step to rapidly teleport around the battlefield, though Quincies, Hollows, and Soul Reapers all use different variants.

Ecowhisperart also provided a video of their Elden Ring Ichigo build in action. While not as fast as the original version, this version of Ichigo is still incredibly swift, with a focus on powerful swordsmanship. Ichigo is shown using his heavy blade to cut down enemies in a single blow, knock mounted bosses off their horses, and dodge blows by Flash Stepping out of the way. The video ends by showing him slashing wildly at an undead enemy in his Bankai transformation, which may remind Bleach fans of the original series.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
