Since Elden Ring's release back in February, there's very little doubt that it's been one of the most popular games on the market. However, one particular player is showing that he doesn't want to leave Elden Ring behind before he's beaten it, as he made sure to take it with him on a tropical vacation.

Certainly, Elden Ring has been getting rave reviews from professional critics and regular players alike. There are people who have openly talked about beating the game with one character and then going back and starting all over again with another. People are spending hours on end voyaging around the immense open world. However, most of those people were playing the game that much from the safety of their ocean-less homes.

However, one Reddit user demonstrated how far the man in her life went in order to keep playing FromSoftware's latest. boo_bored posted a video that was captioned "Buy him Elden Ring they said..." The video pans down to a man playing the game in a small room before panning up and out to show that he's actually sitting cross-legged style on a boat.

Eventually, the video shows the view that the Elden Ring player is missing by sitting in front of a small TV and playing the game. It's clear that while Elden Ring fans have been going crazy since the very first updates about the game were shared, this particular man is especially dedicated to finding every secret buried in the Lands Between.

While the Redditor might have thought that other users would laugh at the player's dedication, it's clear most of the other posters on the site totally understood why he was playing during a boat trip. Quite a few Redditors said that the game haunts them even after they've beaten it several times. Because there are multiple endings in Elden Ring, there is indeed reason to keep coming back over and over for those who consider themselves completionists.

Other users joked about how it turned out that the man in the video was just thinking about his health by staying out of the sun and playing a video game instead. Still, other users thought the video was less about how long the user was playing the game or visiting the many environments in Elden Ring. Some thought there was another motive for posting the video altogether and accused the OP of just wanting to show off that she and her man were on a tropical vacation. Regardless, the clip is extremely entertaining.

Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
