Bloodborne is one of the most popular in the lineage of FromSoftware games. It was a unique direction for the studio, with the introduction of firearms and a focus on more fast-paced combat in its gameplay, and an even darker atmosphere than Dark Souls. Now that online communities have been exploding about Elden Ring, a renewed call for ports of Bloodborne has come from those same communities. The requests for a 60 FPS version of Bloodborne have been long unanswered, but the surprise of Elden Ring's new trailer have helped spark hope for those fans.
Elden Ring Has Renewed Fans' Hope for Bloodborne on PC, PS5
Fans have been hoping for a PC port for some time. While Bloodborne is hailed among fans for its story and gameplay, it certainly has some technical issues that can bog down the experience. Framerate drops are the biggest issue for the game, so many fans have been hoping for a PC (and now PS5) port of the game to address those issues and create a smoother experience overall. Bloodborne's combat is visceral and swift, so seeing the game run at a higher framerate is something many fans want to see. Friday's Elden Ring reveal has renewed those hopes for many.
