PlayStation 4 Consoles:

Meanwhile, Sony made a huge announcement a few days ago when it finally revealed the release window of the PS5. The next-gen PlayStation console is set to release in time for Holiday 2020. In previous announcements, Sony revealed that the PS5 will feature much faster loading times compared to the PS4, given that the new console will include a Solid State Drive.

As of the moment, Sony is yet to reveal the price of the PS5, and given that the console is still a year away from launch, it is possible that Sony still has no idea how much the next-generation console will cost. However, several industry analysts agree that based on historical data, it is possible that the PS5 will be priced at $499, but Sony still has to confirm this.

Apart from the release window, the big PS5 announcement also talked about the controllers that will ship with the upcoming console. System architect Mark Cerny revealed that the upcoming controllers will include two new features: adaptive triggers, and new haptic feedback. Cerny also hinted at the possibility of the PlayStation Assist AI being integrated into the controllers, but the architect revealed that details about that will be revealed at another time.
