E3 2019 is right around the corner, and while Sony is skipping E3 this year, there will still be no shortage of press conferences. This includes Nintendo, who has now laid out its E3 2019 plans, which, like previous years, includes a Nintendo Direct presentation.

The E3 2019 Nintendo Direct will take place on Tuesday, June 11 at 9am PT. Nintendo says that fans will get a look at Nintendo Switch titles for 2019 during its E3 2019 Nintendo Direct, so fans should be able to look forward to seeing games like Animal CrossingFire Emblem: Three HousesLuigi's Mansion 3, and Pokemon Sword and Shield at the very least. Along with fresh looks at already-announced Switch titles, the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct should also have its fair share of surprise game announcements as well.

The E3 2019 Nintendo Direct isn't the only thing Nintendo has planned for the show. It will actually kick things off on June 8 at 11am PT with the Splatoon 2 World Championship event. It's possible that new DLC for Splatoon 2 will be revealed during the livestream, so fans of that game may want to tune in regardless of their interest in eSports.

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship will follow the Splatoon 2 World Championship, with an estimated start time of 2pm PT. Again, while it's possible the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship will focus purely on showcasing competitive gameplay, it's also possible that new DLC will be announced. Most of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC characters are still a mystery at this point, so it would make sense for Nintendo to announce more at E3 2019.

Finally, Nintendo fans can look forward to more in-depth dives into the games that are showcased during the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct through Nintendo Treehouse Live. Nintendo Treehouse Live will be hosting presentations for three days at E3 2019 beginning June 11, and it's there that fans can expect to learn the most about upcoming Nintendo Switch games.

Now that Nintendo has revealed its E3 2019 plans, the show has truly taken shape. Needless to say, it will be exciting to see what the Big N has in store for Switch owners in 2019 and beyond.
