'Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3' Officially Announced

Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 Officially Announced Namco Bandai

On the heels of the announcement of Tales of Graces F being localized for North America, Namco Bandai has once again decided to please their devoted fans once again with the announcement that Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 will be coming to North America as well.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 was originally released exclusively in Japan back in December 2010, and with every entry into this series, the developers Koei and Omega Force have made sure to include some exciting new features that players will be sure to enjoy.

There will be over 70 mobile suits and over 50 playable characters from several of the Gundam series. Players will also have the ability to use any character with any mobile suit, so they will not be limited to the Gundam canon.

Mobile suits from Gundam series that were not featured in the two previous games are now making an appearance, with players now being able to use mobile suits from: Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, After War Gundam X and Mobile Suit Gundam 00.

Some of the new gameplay mechanics that will be featured in DW: Gundam 3 are the Recovery Gauge and the Emergency Dash. The recovery gauge will let players restore some of their Gundam's health in battle, giving players a better fighting chance. The emergency dash enables the player to be able to dodge and sometimes even cancel attacks from enemies. The Gundam's boost meter is slowly depleted when this ability is activated.

Previously seen in Warriors Orochi, which was a crossover title of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, is an ability called Partner Strike, which players can use in order to summon an ally into the battlefield.

Excited to get back in the cockpit of  a Gundam as your favorite Gundam pilot or do you feel like the Dynasty Warriors franchise has gotten a little bit stale?
