Everyone loves it when a game has an Easter Egg or a secret, and Techland's recently released Dying Light 2: Stay Human should be no different. Recently, it was revealed that the game had a Cyberpunk 2077 reference in the form of a weapon, and undoubtedly more things like this will be uncovered as fans explore the world. There is, however, another little secret which, when found, reveals a blueprint for a gun, of sorts, that really shows the developer's more humorous side.

According to a recent report from PC Gamer, Techland has inserted a nice little Easter Egg into Dying Light 2 which reveals a number of callbacks to previous games the studio has worked on. Among other things, players will have the ability to get hold of The Left Finger of gloVa, which is, for want of a better phrase, a weapon that gives the power of literal "finger guns."

Not just a reference to a weapon in Dying Light 1's the Right Hand of gloVA, or Dead Islands' the Left Hand of gloVA, this secret weapon allows players to shoot enemies using just their fingers. A couple of looping gifs from the report show just how powerful this thing actually is. Pointing a finger at an approaching assailant and firing will send the offending person flying, and all through the power of the point and shoot method using just the fingertips. It's not just an amusing Easter Egg, it genuinely seems to pack a punch.

It can be obtained in the Garrison District, and ideally after completing Dying Light's "Broadcast" mission. It does involve some pretty dicey climbing, but ultimately, it seems to be worth it. It's also not something that players will simply be able to get. As mentioned above, it comes in the form of a blueprint and will cost 369 scrap to make. It also only contains 16 rounds before another one needs to be crafted, so it's best to use it wisely.

What's interesting about this secret is not so much the amusement it will lead to, but the fact that Dying Light 2 does away with guns. As it's a game that encourages up close combat or parkour skills to escape danger, having a hidden "finger gun" blueprint is a nice touch from the developer. In a world that's supposed to be quite suspenseful, having access to the Left Finger of gloVa offers a little bit of a comical respite for those who are determined enough to acquire it.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
