There are numerous Easter eggs in Dying Light 2, including one that references CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077. This Easter egg manifests as a special weapon, the Cyber Hands 2177, which look very much like Cyberpunk 2077's iconic Mantis Blades. For those players that would like to add this weapon to their own arsenals, details on how to obtain Dying Light 2's Cyber Hands 2177 can be found in this guide.

Dying Light 2: How to Get Cyber Hands 2177

In order to obtain the Cyber Hands 2177, players must get on top of the tallest building in the Central Loop's Garrison. That building is none other than the VNC Tower, and while it can be scaled from its exterior, there is a much easier way to get to its roof. More specifically, there is an elevator on the first floor of the VNC Tower that players can ride to the top of the building after completing the Broadcast story mission in Dying Light 2.

Upon arriving at the roof of the VNC Tower, fans should head to the southwest edge and use their gliders to reach the top of the building with the tall antenna. Fans should then climb up the ducts that are on the south side of this roof and glide to the top of the building that is directly in front of them. An NPC named Liquidator should be standing at the southeast corner of this roof, and Dying Light 2 players will get the Cyber Hands 2177 blueprint from a nearby container after speaking with him.

To note, some fans are reportedly not encountering Liquidator in this position and are thus unable to access the Cyberpunk 2077 Easter egg. While there is some indication that the NPC does not appear after beating Dying Light 2's story, that does not always seem to be the case. As such, if a player finds that Liquidator is not where he should be, it is recommended that they simply check back after making more story progress.

One final thing to mention is that the building with the antenna that is used to reach Liquidator is also quite special. Indeed, players can obtain some very interesting items from within that structure, including a charm that can be used to effectively give weapons infinite durability in Dying Light 2. Fans will need to solve a puzzle before they can access those items, though, and it centers around powering up a series of generators.

Dying Light 2 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, with a Switch version in development.
