Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to share his excitement of this being the final week of production for the filming of Black Adam. Johnson revealed that he has undergone extensive training and a very strict diet in order to prepare for his role in DC’s Black Adam. Anyone who has followed Johnson on Instagram knows that he is very particular about his meals, as they are a big part of his extensive training regimen.

Johnson announced to fans that he has been prepping for his role in Black Adam both physically and mentally now for 2 years. Since audiences are so accustomed to Johnson’s insanely powerful build, it has become in many ways his trademark. Obviously, a lot of hard work goes into maintaining his physique. Johnson regularly shares his process on social media, highlighting the monumental effort it takes to be as ripped as he is.

A big part of this is sharing what types of food he eats in order to stay fit and full while working as hard as he does. In his latest Instagram post, Johnson first mentions that his meal is sodium pulled and water-limited, immediately diving into body-builder lingo. He then says he is gorging on some flank, egg whites, brown rice, and blueberries - quite the interesting combination.

Johnson is becoming a lot more open in regards to sharing with fans what his typical training has been for the past two years, leading up to his final week of filming. The reason that he may be more inclined to give fans an inside look into his routine now is that he has announced that his intention is to ‘raise the bar’ on his physical build for this role in particular. He refers to his home gym as his ‘iron paradise.’ Fans have witnessed Johnson in insane shape for previous films such as Baywatch and The Fast and the Furious

It's hard to imagine how Johnson will be able to top and surpass his physique for Black Adam. However, his iron paradise may be able to get the job done. His two-year devotion and commitment to exceeding fans' expectations is ambitious, further revealing that Johnson never backs down from a challenge. Considering that Black Adam may have to one day go up against Shazam in a future movie, Johnson may want to pack in some extra egg whites.

Black Adam will be hitting theaters on July 29th, 2022.
