Warner Bros. is pitching Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam as the project that will change the DC Extended Universe moving forward, and it is going big with its promotions. After releasing multiple trailers and posters for the film, the studio decided to project the teaser for the upcoming movie onto the roof of the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, and it is perhaps the largest surface that footage from the film could possibly be displayed on.

It seems like Warner Bros., DC, and Johnson will do anything possible to remind fans that Black Adam is a big deal. Multiple Black Adam trailers keep reiterating that the movie is about to change the “hierarchy of power in the DC Universe.” While it remains to be seen whether Johnson's Teth-Adam will live up to his word or not, the actor is doing everything within his power to increase the hype for the upcoming film, even if that means taking over the roof of one of the largest football stadiums in Los Angeles.

The official Black Adam Twitter account shared a video that was originally posted by the Los Angeles Rams' page. The video, evidently shot from a helicopter, shows the top of the roof of the SoFi Stadium, which has the capacity to house 70,000 attendees at a time. At first, the screens are turned off, and the words “Black Adam” start echoing in the open space. When the screens come on, Johnson's Black Adam appears in costume, followed by a 15-second preview of the film. Johnson's voice reminds fans of the “hierarchy of power” once again, as members of the Justice Society of America make an appearance on the screens.

Judging by the video, it seems like Warner Bros. is going the extra mile to promote the much-awaited Black Adam. However, projecting the footage onto the roof of the football stadium was an interesting choice, as it can only be seen from the sky. Residents close to the stadium could potentially have heard the audio from the teaser trailer, but in order to see the video, they would have to be in the helicopter, or in a high-rise building in the nearby vicinity. The video shared on Twitter is quite spectacular though and will go a long way in the film’s promotions.

Black Adam tells the story of Johnson's lead character who is “freed from his earthly tomb” after thousands of years, and is now “ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.” In his unique path of justice, he will have to face certain heroes from the JSA, including Aldis Hodge's Hawkman, Pierce Brosnan's Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo's Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell's Cyclone.

Black Adam is scheduled to premiere in theaters on October 21, 2022.
