Dungeons and Dragons players have a ton of great products on the horizon starting this fall with the release of Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden, but it won't be long until November arrives and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything brings a whole new toolkit of resources for players and dungeon masters alike. The latest reveal from DnD confirms that there will be some extra products arriving as well to provide even more tools for running adventures.

The newly-announced Dungeon Master's Screen Wilderness Kit is a brand new group of tools for DMs to use while sending their party out on a long journey through the wilderness. The main feature of the new product is obviously a brand new Dungeons and Dragons DM Screen featuring gorgeous art, but there are a lot of other interesting contents in the box, as well.

The new toolkit is available for pre-order now and is scheduled to arrive on November 17, 2020. That is the same date that Tasha's Cauldron of Everything drops and considering what we know about the upcoming book that definitely doesn't seem like a coincidence.

Tasha's Cauldron of Everything has a full chapter all about how DM's should run magical environments (in addition to all those new subclasses for players). This new tool for DMs is meant to help create more immersive environments and make traveling through the world of DnD just as thrilling and exciting as what can be found at the destination. It seems likely that the new Wilderness Toolkit may provide some useful resources for DMs who want to send their players out into some of these magical environments as they reach higher levels in the TTRPG.

The new tool is obviously optional and players starting a new game really just need the Player's Handbook, Monster's Manual, and Dungeon Master's Guide. Any additional books and products are fully optional tools for DMs and parties who just want some extra toys and more resources to pull from. The Wilderness Kit will run shoppers $24.99 and should be available through their local game shops in later November.

This will likely be the last major product released by DnD in 2020, but it's always possible that there will be some last minute surprises for December. Keep an eye out for updates on that front as the holiday season approaches.

Dungeons and Dragons: Wilderness Kit releases on November 17, 2020 (the same day Tasha's Cauldron of Everything). Existing Dungeons and Dragons products are available now at game stores or digitally through DnD Beyond.
