You should know by now that Duke's all out of bubble gum, and it's nearing time to kick some - well, kick some everything. According to French gaming site Jeux Video Network, some photos recently creeped their way onto the Facebook section of Hypergamous, and an unidentified source seems to have revealed the so-called Balls of Steel Edition for Duke Nukem Forever.

Among the collectables found in the Balls of Steel edition is a large bust entitled Carpe Duke. Despite what some may think, this is not an original piece from when development of Duke Nukem Forever started, circa 903 AD. There are also five Duke Nukem related post cards, and a comic which is literally described as being "about big breasts," which really shouldn't be that surprising.

The package will also contain an illustrated book entitled "History, Legend and Legacy," which will likely be an art book containing concepts, screenshots, and a metric ton of development sketches (likely from before Gearbox Software even took on the project). Purchasers of the set will also net themselves a sticker, playing cards, a pair of dice, and two poker chips. The source who posted the photo also said there will be a papercraft Duke included, which isn't featured in the photo -- it might make some good desk swag, unless you sit it next to the gigantic bust.

Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition

Duke: As subtle as the Empire State BuildingNo price has been put forward for the Balls of Steel edition, but it's probably safe to say that with this amount of Duke Memorabilia included, it's not going to be the cheapest of limited editions. Additionally, there is reportedly a Certificate Of Authentication under the bust which may indicate there will only be 2000 copies produced, which would mean the coupe de grace of the entire box set may be the most limited item on the menu.

With the game not releasing until May, players still have a fair amount of time to decide if they want the Balls of Steel Edition. We'll keep you posted when Gearbox releases the official pricing information for the bundle, at which point everyone can decide if it's time to "hail to the king, baby."
