Since its official release several days ago, Dreams continues to take the creative world of gamers by storm. Developed by Media Molecule, the creators of LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway, the studio urges players to use the in-game tools to make and share content with people everywhere. On that note, being a PS4 title means there are trophies available for accomplishing different tasks.

Dreams comes with 39 trophies in total: 22 bronze, 12 silver, 4 gold, and the final platinum trophy for finishing all the others. Dream's trophies are split between different categories like community-focused goals sharing a player's own designs or following another creator. Additionally, there are immersive tasks that can only be accomplished with the player's creative imp, such as the Welcome Home quest.

Creative Thinker - Welcome Home Theme Steps

Players can earn this trophy by following the steps on the Welcome Home quest. Note that an internet connection will be required to finish the final steps.

  1. Use the imp quest menu to select and watch the Welcome Home example video.
  2. Players then need to make their own Welcome Home scene using imp quest. Dreams will direct the imp with instructions, but players can skip through it by continually pressing Next Step until it becomes grey.
  3. Afterward, press the search button, then Next Step, go into the Welcome Home Kit collection, and finally place a Chick in the level, plus more additions for creative players. Press the Options button and enter Play Mode to test the scene. Once again, press the Options button to go back to Edit Mode. Finally, press Options then the save button one more time.
  4. Players then need to release their creation as a playable Dream. Dreams will guide players through the process if they decide to do so through the imp menu. Confirm that the tab has changed from collection to Dream. If players don't want other people to be able to find their creations, they can use the publishing screen to change them to unlisted. Otherwise, players can also hide it from themselves with the Archive tool on their profile page under My Creations.
  5. Finally, players need to go comment on another creative Welcome Home dream, such as Pelican Town. They can be found by using the Welcome Home imp quest page and searching through the "Other dreamers made these..." header. After finding a dream, just leave any type of comment in order to finish the quest.

Once these steps are finished, players will receive the trophy and unlock the Acorn Sprite as well.

Dreams is now available exclusively on the PS4.
