Media Molecule's extremely unique title, Dreams, has allowed fans to create a huge variety of content, with its ease-of-use and accessibility allowing PlayStation owners of all types to flex their creative muscles. Essentially, players can make whatever they can imagine in Dreams, with the potential for entire games to be developed, with full cutscenes, dialog, and music. One reddit user has clearly begun work on a Game of Thrones project, showing off a fantastic 3D model of one of the series' primary antagonists, the Night King.

A unique experience, Dreams functions less like a traditional game, and more like a creative suite of easily accessible tools for basic game development. This includes modes for 3D sculpting, painting, sounds and music, as well as the ability to control created models for gameplay and animation. Fans have managed to create an entire 3D Donkey Kong in Dreams, and creations from players are available for download for users, meaning that even if a person lacks creative inclination, they can still experience other players' designs.

One such Dreams player, known as GENIXTHESAIYAN on reddit, has posted up an impressive model of the Night King from HBO's Game of Thrones. While the sculpt is noted to be an "early" representation of Genix's work, it already bears an incredible likeness to the icy antagonist, capturing his glowing blue eyes and frozen visage with aplomb. Sculpting in Dreams is reasonably intuitive, with a vast array of tools at users' disposal, and a fairly simple UI. Creating 3D sculpts of this level of detail, however, can be time-consuming, and certainly requires skill and patience to create.

There are plenty of tutorials out there that can teach users the basics of Dreams, but to create something as complex as the Night King will come down to spending time with the engine and learning its tools. While Dreams' graphics may look a little dated to some, with one Redditor pointing out the 3D model's similarities to characters made in Oblivion's character creator, Genix's Night King certainly shows off the game's ability to create detailed sculpts. Genix didn't reveal any particular details with regards to what the model was to be used for, but with Dreams ability to make full-fledged games, it's possible a Game of Thrones fan game is in the works.

It's always fantastic to see what fans can create when given the appropriate tools, and the accessibility of Dreams is a great way to introduce game development principles to would-be developers and younger gamers. While PC modding has generally been considered to be the main space for user-generated content, Dreams has shown that creating complex games is not only possible in a console environment, it can potentially be more accessible and intuitive for newer developers.

Dreams is available now for PS4 and Ps5.
