Even though it has only been a year since the release of Dreams, in-game developers have already mastered the complex creation tools to come up with their full-blown video games, such as one Dream creators remake of Crash Bandicoot. Levels like that are so inventive that they even arguably rival their AAA counterparts. Now, here to give Avalanche Studios' Hogwarts Legacy a run for its money, one Harry Potter fan shares a remarkable Dreams recreation of the famous magical world which looks to be one of the most innovative games to hit the Dreamiverse.

For the uninitiated, Dreams functions less like a traditional game, and more like a creative suite of easily accessible tools for basic to advanced game development. With all these tools in one package and the ability to share creations with other gamers, since its release, players have proven time and time again that the sky really is the limit for the number of creative possibilities that Dreams allow players to fulfil.

Now, after players have had the chance to experience an incredibly endless stream of fully-fledged creations like shooters, RPGs, and even a Ratchet And Clank inspired scene made in Dreams. It's about time for the fictional wizarding boarding school of magic to make an appearance too. Here to make that a reality, Dreams creator jedimaster369 has produced an entirely explorable interpretation of Hogwarts for fans of Harry Potter to try out.

This impressive creation amassed over 1000 upvotes on Reddit soon after user DrJones20 posted a short five-minute clip of the Dream's "Hogwarts Castle" level. Although developer jedimaster369 has stated that the immersive experience is a "work in progress," with "more scenes" said to be added in the future, the amount of detail already present in this unofficial Harry Potter video game is nothing short of amazing.

The "Hogwarts Castle" level is yet to feature any actual combat or spell-casting gameplay. Instead, the primary focus is on exploring the vast yet intricate level environment that surrounds the player when they first spawn onto the overlooking Hogwarts' viaduct. From booting up the level, players are free to wander at their own leisure throughout Hogwarts' many towers, turrets and deep dungeons. On top of this, there is also a wand that can be equipped to illuminate areas covered in darkness.

In summary, creators in Dreams like jedimaster369 have perfectly demonstrated how far the in-game tools can be pushed. Even with the primary method of development in Dreams being restricted to the PlayStation 5's much-lauded DualSense controller, these limits certainly haven't stumped the creativity of players working around them to make something incredible.

Dreams is available now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
