With every biome that players unlock in Disney Dreamlight Valley, new resources open up to them. As they collect these new resources, all sorts of new recipes and options for crafting unlock for them. This also allows players to get resources needed for quests. A good example of this would be lobsters.
Lobsters are related to an objective in a quest that players get by leveling up their friendship with Ursula. Just like shrimp, lobsters are a little more difficult to catch as they only come from a single biome, and this guide will help players track down some lobsters of their own.
How to Get Lobsters in Dreamlight Valley
As mentioned above, Lobsters can only be found in one biome. That biome is the Glade of Trust. Unlike other biomes like Dazzle Beach, the number of areas where Disney Dreamlight Valley players can fish in the Glade of Trust is mostly limited to a river and a small pond near some ruins.
While players can get lobsters just from fishing at random locations, it is highly recommended that they search for orange-yellow circles with bubbles coming up from the center and cast their trusty fishing rod there.
These locations have a higher chance of spawning lobsters than the white and blue circles. If there are no orange-yellow circles, players can use their fishing rod to catch fish from the other circles, and eventually, more orange-yellow circles will spawn in the water. If players want to have a shot at getting more lobsters with each catch, they should bring along a companion that has the Fishing Role selected so that they can stock up. Fish caught from orange-yellow circles take a great deal more effort to catch, and players should carefully watch their timing as the circle moves faster when they have a bite.
What Are Lobsters Used For?
Just like with all the other fish and shellfish that can be caught in Disney Dreamlight Valley, lobsters are used for cooking. One recipe, in particular, is a Lobster Roll. Lobster Roll is a five-star meal that can be cooked with one lobster, one stick of butter, one garlic, one wheat, and one lemon. In fact, making a Lobster Roll is an objective for one of Ursula's Friendship Quests.
Even if Disney Dreamlight Valley players have not yet gotten to that quest, it never hurts to cook meals that will be needed for later since food doesn't expire. With some upgraded storage space in their house, having quest objective items in reserve can be very helpful for Disney Dreamlight Valley players.
