The DreamHack Open circuit is preparing to finish out 2020 with two more events. The next event will take place from November 26th through the 29th, and the final event from December 10th through the 13th. Each event will have a $100,000 prize pool.

Due to Covid-19 both tournaments will be played fully online. Players will participate in the tournament from their own homes. The event will be broadcast from the Monster Energy DreamHack Studio in Stockholm.

The DreamHack Open circuit has always been a place for aspiring teams to prove themselves. DreamHack Open provides points toward the EPT Masters Championship, IEM Katowice in 2021 with 100% points value, and 50% points value to the next EPT Masters Championship, ESL One Cologne in 2021.

Both events will follow the same schedule (CET). All games will be a best of 3, except for the Grand Finals, which will be a best of 5.

According to DreamHack's website, the organization has decided to postpone DreamHack Winter until 2021. The event's organizers are exploring new dates for DreamHack Winter and will be sharing their plans as soon as possible.
