DrDisRespect is one of the top Twitch streamers in the world, making a name for himself largely through streaming battle royale games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. But even though he is one of the top Twitch streamers and has even won awards because of his streams, that doesn't make him immune to the streaming service's Terms of Service.

DrDisRespect is at E3 2019, and it's there where he hosted his first-ever Twitch IRL stream. Unfortunately for the charismatic streamer, his Twitch IRL stream was cut short and he was banned from doing Twitch IRL moving forward, presumably because he streamed in a bathroom. Streaming in a bathroom is against Twitch's Terms of Service, and in fact, videotaping in a public bathroom in general is potentially illegal. It's in Twitch's best interests to avoid any potential lawsuits that could come about from hosting content like that, and so it makes sense for the streaming giant to shut down DrDisRespect's stream, even though it risks upsetting some of his fans in the process.

drdisrespect twitch and twitter accounts hacked

At the time of this writing, DrDisRespect has not updated his Twitter after getting banned from Twitch IRL, so we have yet to see his reaction. However, this is far from the first time a DrDisRespect stream created controversy or grabbed headlines.

There have been multiple instances in the past where DrDisRespect's life has been threatened on stream. This included a time where someone literally shot at his house, and another time when DrDisRespect was swatted. For the uninitiated, swatting is when someone calls in a SWAT team on someone as a prank, sometimes with deadly consequences. Luckily, DrDisRespect was able to diffuse that situation and no one was hurt.

One of the most notable streams hosted by DrDisRespect was the one where he admitted to cheating on his wife. After making this confession, DrDisRespect took a break from Twitch streaming before making his triumphant and very successful return some time later.
